Acapulco Oriental Lily

Hot pink, fragrant flowers fill the garden with the scent of lilies in flower in July. Winter hardy in the Chicago area, Acapulco Oriental lily (Lilium 'Acapulco') reaches a dramatic 36 inches in height, spreading fragrance from the back of the garden bed. Humus-rich, well-drained soils with adequate moisture during the summer give the best results. Lilies prefer to have their roots in shade and their heads in the sun.
